The Teacher Guide to PACES was developed by teachers for teachers as part of an intensive PACES Summer Writing Project. Teachers representing elementary grades and secondary disciplines from throughout the District came together to begin a document their colleagues could use for self-assessment, as well as for professional growth. The Teacher Guide to PACES includes sample professional growth activities for each PACES Teaching and Learning Component and classroom examples to illustrate each PACES indicator. These examples are an initial effort meant to help guide professional growth discussion to clarify the PACES indicators. More will be added as this document is a work in progress.
